USDA announces new Section 32 purchases of frozen, dried blueberries

USDA has issued two new solicitations for the procurement of frozen and dried highbush blueberries under the authority of Section 32, formerly known as the “bonus buy” program, for use in the National School Lunch Program and other federal food and nutrition assistance programs.

According to the new frozen blueberries solicitation, offers are due by Sept. 16, 2020, and acceptances will be announced by midnight, Sept. 23, 2020. Deliveries are to be made between Oct. 1, 2020, and March 31, 2021. 

Offers for the dried blueberries solicitation are due by Sept. 11, 2020, and acceptances will be announced by midnight, Sept. 21, 2020. Deliveries are to be made between Oct. 1 and May 31, 2021.
