Blueberry open house, trade show planned in North Carolina

Join the North Carolina Blueberry Council and North Carolina State University for the primary educational meeting for blueberry growers in the state and region.

The 54th Annual Open House and Trade Show will be held Jan. 14-15,
2020, at the Charlie Rose Expo Center, Crown Complex, Fayetteville, North Carolina.

2020 Blueberry Trade Show Educational Program

The 2020 educational program will include, among other offerings, updates from Lauren Redpath on advanced blueberry genetics and genomics work in Dr. Ashrafi’s lab; a review of progress on cultivar development at Castle Hayne by Jessica Spencer, and observations on cultivars from Mike Mainland.

Sessions will also cover disease control (Bill Cline) and insect control (Hannah Burrack) with emphasis on hard-to-control pests like Exobasidium leaf and fruit spot, and plum curculio. In addition to the educational program, new and returning vendors will be showcasing products to benefit your business during our Trade Show hours.
