Virtual Cherry Field Day scheduled for July 6 in Washington state

Washington State University Tree Fruit Extension and Oregon State University Extension Service will conduct a Virtual Cherry Field Day on July 6 from 10 a.m-11 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.

The session will be broadcast live from the Allan Bros. orchard, hiring how they grow top-quality fruit. There will be an opportunity to ask questions of industry experts during harvest.

The agenda includes:

Little cherry disease update.

Washington State University (WSU) robotic pruning research.

WSU harvest studies.

Featured grower spotlight live Q&A with Allan Bros. Inc and Zilch Ranch.

Y-tresllised “Sweetheart”/Mazzard orchard.

The event will be hosted by Suzanne Bishop and Luke Anderson.
