The Michigan State Horticultural Society presented its Distinguished Service Award at the 2012 Great Lakes Fruit, Vegetable and Farm Market EXPO in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Peterson Farms, of Hart, Mich., is a family business. Linda is the chief financial officer. Son Aaron is president and CEO. Aaron and his wife Jenny have two children. Daughter Sarah Schlukebir is vice president of sales and marketing. Sarah and her husband Eric have two daughters. Son Mark, vice president of operations, is married to Gabriela, and they have three children.
