Field day set for new MSU research center

A Michigan State University (MSU) AgBio Research and Extension Field Day is scheduled at the newly opened Earl and Linda Peterson West Central Michigan Research and Extension Center near Hart, Michigan.

The tree fruit research center is located at 5185 N. Oceana Drive, Hart, Michigan, 49420.

The Oct. 19 field day begins at 1:30 p.m. will showcase a demonstrate novel control treatments for pear psylla, future planting and research plans, 2021 peach thinning and cherry leaf spot field demonstrations and an opportunity to meet with new MSU Tree Fruit Extension educator Emily Lavely.

Pre-registration is encouraged but not required.
