IFPA Town Hall looks ahead to 2023 issues

As the end the year nears, the final International Fresh Produce Association Town Hall of 2022 will review hot topics from the year and what’s coming up in 2023.

The IFPA Virtual Town Hall is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 12 p.m. Eastern time.

“IFPA experienced many successes in 2022,” IFPA officials said in a news release. “And 2023 offers the fresh produce industry more opportunities to advocate for our policy priorities. Join us for this Virtual Town Hall as we recap industry efforts during IFPA’s inaugural year and look ahead to our goals for next year.

To discuss business challenges in the fresh produce and floral industries, IFPA brings expert insights and interactive attendee participation through virtual town halls which are regularly scheduled for Wednesdays, according to IFPA’s website.

The meeting is scheduled to include these IFPA speakers:

  • Rebeckah Adcock, vice president of U.S. government relations;
  • John Hollay, director of U.S. government relations;
  • George Szczepanski, director of production, supply chain and environmental policy; and
  • Mollie Van Lieu, vice president of nutrition and health.

Participants can register for free at here.

Information on future sessions and on-demand recordings of past virtual town halls are available for industry members on IFPA’s website.
