April Demo Days at 2021 World Ag Expo Online promoted by Italy

U.S. importers, dealers, and agribusiness professionals are invited to join the April Italian AgTech Demo Days on the World Ag Expo Online platform to learn about the latest innovations in Italian farming machinery. Three video seminars followed by targeted demos will showcase new products, strategies, and technologies to interested digital guests.

The Demo Days are organized and promoted by ITA (Italian Trade Agency, the Governmental agency that supports the business development of Italian companies abroad) and FederUnacoma, the Italian Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Federation.

According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, since 2018 Italy has been the seventh-largest supplier of agricultural machinery and equipment to the U.S. For “Made in Italy” exports of agricultural machinery, the United States is a core market. Throughout 2020, Italian tractors and other agricultural machinery exports arrived at a value of $448 million dollars, a value practically on par with the strong two years that preceded it. The first 2021 data shows an encouraging growth trend of +7.8% compared to the same period of 2020.

The Demo Days are a series of free digital events open to all attendees for three Tuesdays in a row in the month of April. World Ag Expo is dedicating these Demo Days to the theme of “trees & vines”. Each Demo Day will host a roundtable with AgTech renowned experts and U.S. market dedicated product demonstrations specifically created by Italian manufacturers. Every digital event will focus on a different topic:

• April 13, 2021 – 11:30 a.m. CST: Hay & Forage Equipment in the Western U.S.: Exploring Opportunities, Objectives & Obstacles
• April 20, 2021 – 11:30 a.m. CST: Permanent Cropping Equipment in the Western U.S.: Exploring Opportunities, Objectives & Obstacles with Fruits & Nuts
• April 27, 2021 – 11:30 a.m. CST: Vegetable Cropping Equipment in the Western U.S.: Exploring Opportunities, Objectives & Obstacles
Registrants will be presented with complimentary AgTech insight reports and for the entire months of April and May the possibility to win an AEI VIP Subscription by a digital raffle.

All the Italian companies participating in this project are actively looking for partners in the U.S. (dealers and distributors), which is why DEMO DAYS are the perfect opportunity for American businesses to take a first step towards expanding their agricultural tech portfolios to best serve their future and recurring customers.

The Italian presence at 2021 World Ag Expo digital edition has been the busiest ever: 41 companies still digitally exhibiting and networking with dealers, farmers and importers until 2022 and showcasing a wide range of products that spans from parts and components, to highly specialized harvesting equipment.
