Jacto makes changes to its sprayer distribution system

Jacto has made a change in its distribution approach for its tractor-mounted sprayers from a two-step distribution system supported by a West Coast domestic warehouse to three direct progressive importer/distributors.

Backpack sprayers will continue to be sold by the company’s large network of independent distributors in the outdoor power equipment, horticultural and specialty catalog markets. Jacto’s tractor-powered sprayer organization now comprises Cummings & Bricker in the Northeast and central Midwest, ACI Distributors for the Midwest and Southeast and General Implement Distributors for the Northern Plains and western states.

This new strategy puts more inventories, along with sales and technical support personnel closer to the market and allows more competitive overall pricing and costs for both the dealer and for the end user, according to the company. At the same time, the new system makes Jacto products readily available to many new dealers in underserved territories, while continuing to support and grow business with Jacto’s many loyal established dealers.

All field and warehouse inventory has been re-allocated to these three distributor/importers and their staffs have had substantial product and technical training.

Jacto will continue to fully support these distributor/importers and their dealers with factory technical people, both in the field, as well as on a day-to-day basis throughout the North American market.
