Spotted lanternfly seminar scheduled for June 13

A free webinar on the spotted lanternfly (SLF) will cover known and anticipated effects on grape, wine and agritourism businesses.

The one-hour session begins at noon Eastern June 13. Julie Urban, associate research professor in the Penn State Department of Entomology, will give an overview of the SLF’s invasion history and ongoing research to mitigate its effect on the grape industry.

Although it’s free, registration is required to receive a link to the webinar.

Material presented during the webinar is based on work supported by the USDA-National Institute of Food and Agriculture.
