A&L to hold soil health symposiums in Michigan, Ontario

A&L Canada Laboratories will host free soil health symposiums for growers, retailers and agronomists later this month.

The afternoon events will be held twice – in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Sept. 25, and in London, Ontario, on Sept. 26.

The events will feature a variety of presentations. James White, Jr., professor in the Department of Plant Biology at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, New Jersey will share his research findings on endophytic microbes and their potential applications in crop management systems, according to a press release from A&L. A&L Research Lab Director Soledad Saldias will highlight what the company has learned from its soil health research program and what it means for commercial crop production. A&L Founder and CEO, Greg Pattersonwill detail the new VitTellus Soil Health test and recommendation package. Based on eight years of research and field trials, VitTellus soil health index has shown a 90% correlation between certain soil health factors and crop yields.

The event is free, but A&L is encouraging participants to register online.
