Ribbon-cutting for new Riveridge cider-processing facility

About 200 growers and other apple industry professionals attended a Sept. 6 ribbon-cutting for a new cider production facility of Riveridge Produce Marketing in Grant, Michigan.

The company said the 40,000 square foot building is the second-largest in the country in terms of production. It represents a revenue stream for growers with apples that don’t make grade for fresh sales.
