MSU plans Michigan Grape Pre-Bloom Webinar on May 27

The Michigan State University Extension Grape Team will be hosting its 2021 Statewide Grape Pre-Bloom Webinar on Thursday, May 27, from 1-4PM via Zoom. This webinar is free, but registration is required by midnight on May 26.

Pre-bloom is an excellent time of year for grape growers to learn more about shoot trimming and leaf removal and insect and disease management. The agenda is still being finalized and actual times and titles may vary.

Participants will receive a Zoom link to join the webinar with their registration confirmation.

Stefano Poni, renowned researcher and viticulture professor from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Piacenza, Italy, will share the results of his recent project on early season grape shoot thinning and leaf removal.
