Virtual roundtable discussion on grape growing, winemaking set

Join industry stakeholders and Extension educators on Thursday, Dec. 9, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. ET, for a virtual roundtable discussion on winemaking, grape growing and more.

During this webinar, Penn State and Maryland Extension specialists and grape and wine industry stakeholders from Pennsylvania and Maryland will review the 2021 vintage. This postseason roundtable discussion panel will share their insights, answer questions, and discuss the challenges encountered in the 2021 grape growing and winemaking season.

The roundtable discussion begins at 10 a.m. with the Vineyard Management Session panelist discussion, followed by an 11:10 a.m. Winemaking Session panelist discussion. The final session at 12:20 p.m. features an open discussion with a Q&A panel and a Q&A with multiple Pennsylvania and Maryland industry stakeholders.

New and experienced grape growers, vineyard owners, and winemakers will greatly benefit from taking advantage of this opportunity to ask questions and listen to discussion about 2021’s grape growing and winemaking challenges and get a peak into what 2022 might hold for the industry.
