Naturipe kicks off California strawberry season

National Strawberry Day — Feb. 27 — coincides with the kickoff of California strawberry season for Naturipe Farms, with increasing volumes.

Naturipe will offer several of its proprietary varieties and premium berries, including the jumbo greenhouse-grown Mighty Reds, as well as familiar conventional and organic varieties.

Naturipe-logoWhile Mother Nature pushed back the start of the season, Naturipe is still expecting high-quality California strawberries for the spring season, according to a news release. Production is increasing over the next few weeks and the crop will feature large, juicy strawberries.

Proprietary varieties are part of Naturipe’s New Era of Berries, which is defined by improved quality; innovation in breeding, growing, and packaging; and continued prioritization of sustainability throughout the business.

Every season, Naturipe operates with the values of high-quality berries, innovative breeding and growing practices, and a commitment to sustainability. In its New Era of Berries, Naturipe looks forward to bringing more attention to its significant strides in these areas. For more on Naturipe’s berry offerings, visit their website here.
