The Northwest Michigan Horticulture Research Center tree fruit field day was held Aug. 25 in Traverse City, Michigan. Topics included spotted wing drosophila, pollinators, cherry rootstocks and using drone technology to detect cherry leaf spot. The event is sponsored by Michigan State University AgBioResearch, MSU Extension, the NWMHRC Foundation and the Leelanau Horticultural Society.
