Accomplishments

Mike Basedow is a tree fruit specialist with Cornell Cooperative Extension's Eastern New York Commercial Horticulture Program. Mike conducts applied research and delivers educational programming relevant to orchards across the Eastern New York region. Mike’s primary research and extension areas include crop load management, perennial orchard weed management and the use of beneficial fungi in establishing new orchard plantings. Basedow also works with beginning orchardists and Cornell’s Hard Cider Program Work Team.
