Take a virtual tour of the Northwest Michigan Horticulture Research Center

Due to Michigan State University policies related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Michigan State University Extension is unable to host in-person meetings.

Unfortunately, this includes our annual Northwest Michigan Horticulture Research Center open house and annual Leelanau Horticultural Society dinner and meeting. Because of this, we have gotten creative and figured out a way to bring you station and project updates, all virtually. We are excited to roll out our Northwest Michigan Horticulture Research Center Virtual Tour through Google Maps!

This new tool links you to a Google map of the station and includes pins of various plots and projects around the Northwest Michigan Horticulture Research Center. You can click on one of the pins and it will open a video of a researcher or Extension educator explaining that plot or project.

Though we cannot meet in person and participate in a physical tour of the Northwest Michigan Horticulture Research Center, we are excited about this alternative technology. We hope to continue updating this map as plots and projects change to keep the public in the loop about what we are doing at the Northwest Michigan Horticulture Research Center.
