Accomplishments

Macarena Farcuh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture at the University of Maryland. Her program focuses on creating novel strategies to reduce pre- and postharvest losses and increase production efficiency of fruit crops, in a changing climate, while enhancing their quality, shelf-life, nutritional value and safety. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis, and her B.S and M.S. from the University of Chile.
