Weber, of Weber Orchards near Benton Harbor, Michigan, was recognized with the Distinguished Service Awar “in honor and appreciation for his 24 years of counsel and guidance as a board member of the Michigan Peach Sponsors and for his help as a cooperator for on-farm research projects by Michigan State University scientists, all for the benefit and advancement of the Michigan tree fruit industry and southwest Michigan agriculture.”
