The housing deadline to receive the group rate of $279 is Feb. 2 or when the block sells out, according to a news release.

Blueberry growers and industry members are encouraged to participate in The Blueberry Convention, which is sponsored by the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council and North American Blueberry Council.

“This event is bringing together industry influencers and thought leaders to explore inspiring blueberry possibilities that are sure to boost your bottom line,” organizers said in the news release. “You’ll find the blueberry industry knowledge you need to succeed at The Blueberry Convention. And there’s still time to sign up!”

Education sessions are touted as among the hottest industry topics, and include

  • The State of the Blueberry Industry, with Soren Bjorn, CEO of Driscoll’s and Juan Ignacio Allende, CEO of Hortifrut.
  • Blueberry Harvesters: The Latest and Greatest, with Steve Mantle, Founder/CEO, innov8.ag, Marcel Beelen of Finefield; and additional panelists.
  • Macro Trends Impacting the Blueberry Industry, with David Magaña, senior analyst of horticulture for Rabobank.

While other topics for the event’s sessions are being developed, the event includes a 2024 crop report and other activities.
